Digital marketing has become one of the most valuable ways to grow a business today. Most people know the basics of running ads on social media and Google Ads, and then their ads will be seen everywhere online. But that is not true at all. If only digital marketing were that simple, everyone would be doing it and everyone would have success with it.

The real difference in digital marketing comes from using PPC Landing pages. You may be asking, what is that? How do I Use it? We will answer all of these questions as well as many more questions throughout this article to give you a full understanding of them and how you can use them to beat your competitors with your ads.

What is a PPC landing page and what is the point of it?

A PPC landing page is a dedicated landing page that you use when someone clicks on one of your pay-per-click ads, or in other words, one of your Google ads. These pages are solely made to convert people who click on your ads into customers, so they are very important in digital marketing.
But does it really matter how you make your PPC landing page? Yes. Yes, it does. When running Google Ads, you pay for each time someone clicks on your ads. And when someone clicks on your ad, and they are redirected to a landing page that looks awful or has low-quality content, the visitor will quickly leave and never go back to it again. And POOF, there goes the money that you spent on the person clicking your ad.
So knowing what a PPC landing page is, is very important if you want to have digital marketing success. And with a landing page full of effective content to convert visitors into customers, your investment in Google ads will surely pay off!

How to Create a PPC Landing Page

Creating a PPC landing page is not hard at all, in fact, if you have a website, it is just like that. So whatever website building software you use, you can use it as well for your PPC landing page. It is a standalone page so it doesn’t appear on the actual website, and is only used for the purpose of Google Ads.
Once you make the landing page, it is time to fill it out and structure it in a way that is not only appealing to the visitor but also provides the necessary information to inform the visitor and to further solidify their decision to convert and become a customer. It may not seem like a tough task, but just like Google Ads, it is a process of trying it out and seeing if it works. But lucky for you, we have already done the hard work and experienced what works and what doesn’t!
When creating a PPC landing page, the top of your landing page must be clear and concise. When a visitor clicks on the page, you want them to see exactly what you want them to know and what you want them to do. Don’t overload the top of your page with paragraphs and paragraphs of content that, one, people most likely do not want to read, and two will get lost. We recommend that you use bullet points or short and to-the-point sentences about what service you are offering. Also have a contact form near the top as well, so even if they do not see any content, they right away can see the form which they can quickly fill out and set up an appointment. The top is the most important part of the page because it is the first impression for the visitor, and if it’s bad, they most likely will not want to continue reading and being on that page.
The rest of the PPC landing page should be a longer text format, where people can read about your company, your services, why you are the best in this area of service, and even provide more selling points to make yourself stick out from competitors. Provide images, as well as other ways to contact you. The goal is for the visitor to fill out the form, but maybe they want to talk with someone first and ask questions, having other ways to contact is also important. Lastly, when creating a PPC landing page, the goal is to have the viewer reach the page and stay on the page. So make your PPC landing page not have any other clickable links where people can be redirected to something else. Yeah, you may think to have the top menu where people can go to your home page, other services, etc. but that is the WORST thing you can do. You want to keep your viewers on the page where the only option for them is to fill out the form or leave. And with other links to click on, you are decreasing the chance of someone converting because they can get lost or overwhelmed.
In summary, keep your PPC landing page simple, straight to the point at the top where people will get a first impression, but then have more in-depth content lower on the page, just in case they are interested and continue to scroll.
