A good test: Can a first-time visitor complete your primary action in under 3 taps on mobile? If not, fix:

  • Mobile: 16px+ body text, 44px tap targets, 1 CTA per view
  • Forms: Fewer than 5 fields for first contact. Use progressive profiling later
  • Pop-ups: Delay 8–12 seconds or 75% scroll. One per session
